Back in 2015, I had the idea to make 52 boxes during the course of a year, with the goal of becoming a better designer. Most folks thought it was weird and that I wouldn't get it done. Well, I did! This book is about those 52 boxes. For each box, I relate what I was thinking about when I designed it. Up front there is a chapter were I show the techniques I use to make boxes, and sprinkled throughout the book are some specialized techniques that are unique to individual boxes. There are no plans, and there are no step-by-step instructions. The book is really about learning to design.
I know that I am charging more than the book costs on Amazon and elsewhere, but I am giving you more than just the book, and also think about it as a way of supporting me. Here's what you get: a signed copy of the book, a MEK Woodworks sticker, and a MEK Woodworks bookmark.
